Sagar International Manpower Pvt. Ltd. is a recruitment agency registered in India, licensed under the Emigration Act as a recruiting agent (RA Licence No. B-1550/PUN/PART/1000+/5/9486/2019, eMigrate RA ID RA5466131). Our head office is at First Floor, Opposite Electricity Board, Nakodar Road, Mehatpur, Jalandhar, Punjab 144041, India.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sagar International Manpower Pvt. Ltd. We are the data fiduciary for the personal information described here. This policy covers www.simanpower.in and the recruitment services we provide to candidates and employers.

2. What information we collect

Information you give us

When you enquire, register with us or apply for a role, you may give us:

• Your name, telephone number, email address and postal address.
• Your résumé, qualifications, certificates, trade test results and employment history.
• Passport details, date of birth, nationality and photographs, where a role requires them.
• Medical fitness results and police clearance, where the destination country or employer requires them.
• Bank or payment details, where these are needed for a documented transaction.
• Anything else you choose to include in an enquiry or in correspondence with us.

If you are an employer, we collect your business contact details and the details of the manpower requirement you send us.

Information from others

We may receive information about you from referees you nominate, from trade-testing and medical centres we appoint, and from employers who interview you.

3. This website and third-party content

This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include the IP address and browser of visitors, for security and diagnostics.

Some parts of the site load content from third parties, which means those companies receive your IP address and may set their own cookies. They are:

• Google Fonts — typefaces, on every page.
• Google Maps — the embedded map on our Contact page.
• WhatsApp — only if you tap the WhatsApp button.

Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, not by this one.

Our enquiry forms

The enquiry forms on this site do not submit to a database. They open a message in your own email application, addressed to us, which you send yourself. Nothing you type into a form is stored on this website, and nothing is transmitted until you press send in your own email application.

4. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

• Assess your suitability for roles and shortlist you to employers.
• Arrange trade tests, interviews and medical examinations.
• Prepare and file visa, emigration clearance and travel documentation.
• Respond to your enquiries and keep you updated on your application.
• Meet our obligations under the Emigration Act and the requirements of the destination country.
• Keep our own records and resolve disputes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Who we share it with

Placing a candidate overseas requires sharing information. Depending on your application, we may disclose your details to:

• Prospective employers and their authorised representatives.
• The Protector of Emigrants, the eMigrate system and other Indian government authorities.
• Embassies, consulates and visa processing centres.
• Approved medical centres and trade-testing centres.
• Airlines, travel agents and insurers, for your deployment.
• Our professional advisers, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.

We share only what is needed for the purpose, and we do not disclose your information to anyone else without your consent.

6. International transfers

Because we recruit for employers outside India, your information will be transferred to, and processed in, the country you are applying to work in. Data protection law in that country may differ from Indian law. By applying for an overseas role through us, you consent to this transfer for the purposes set out in section 4.

7. How long we keep it

We keep candidate records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed recruiting agent. Where we hold your résumé on file for future openings and you have not been placed, you can ask us to remove it at any time.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access to candidate files is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Stop contacting you about opportunities.
• Withdraw a consent you have given us, which will not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Write to us using the details in section 12 and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity first. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer progress your application.

10. Children

Our services are for adults seeking employment. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe we hold such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Please check back occasionally.
